Engage heavy duty shears are rugged and dependable hydraulic shears.  They utilize a well-balanced and welded frame that provides constant rigidity and maximum resistance against deflection over time. Engage machines are built with special low noise hydraulic systems for a quiet and thus more safe shop.

Independent hydraulic hold-downs ensure that the material is secured for accurate cutting. High grade carbon chrome blades ensure long life of the blades.  An optional material thickness adjustment handle changes blade clearances for clean and smooth cutting on widely differing material thicknesses.

An adjustable rake angle is standard on all equipment to minimize twisting and bowing of parts.  Cut line lighting allows operators to see the part and makes for less scrap.  The work table is mounted with roller balls for quick loading.  Full length finger guards ensure safe operation.

All motors and pumps are overload protected and comply with international electrical standards.  The standard foot operator pedal has a safety switch and is designed to return to the home blade position after the operator removes his foot from the pedal.

All machines come standard with a 24’” manually adjustable back gauge with both metric and inch scales.

Pictured at the left is the single position CNC back gauge controlled by German Elgo control, proven on thousands of machines worldwide.  The back gauge is 31” in depth and is standard equipment on all 1/4” machines.
